Jack’s not just a voice… he’s a person too!
Acting Showreel
Jack is a professional actor represented by EKO. If you wish to use him for your next acting project, please get in contact with Carol Gilby. You can find more details for future projects on his Spotlight page. Here he is in action…
Acting
Jack is no stranger to treading the boards, engaging in amateur dramatics at an early age, and performing in many productions whilst studying for his BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London. Jack also has a Grade 8 (Gold) LAMDA Acting qualification.
The skills he has picked up in his time have proved more than useful for voice acting, but have also lured him back to acting on screen and stage.
Most recently, he played the lead, Joe Casey, in Wellington Operatic Society’s production of Our House: The Madness Musical, notably playing two out two versions of the same character (Good Joe and Bad Joe). In 2021, he played Ander in the short Ander and Tali, which he also wrote, as well as having featured roles in The Toys That Built
America for History (America) and Landscapers for HBO, and in 2019 he appeared as Officer Marshall in the indie short film Jealousy. He has also featured in instructional videos for Google Play, as well as in an advertising campaign for Dogs Trust as the lead Canine. He also has many voice acting credits for video games, commercials and more.
His performances have come with many accolades. In 2010, aged 18, Jack was awarded Somerset Fellowship of Drama’s Comic of the Year for playing Del Boy and Prince Charming in WAA Pantomime Group’s Snow White. In 2017, the same body awarded Jack the Eddie Bowker Trophy for Best Individual Performance AND Best Animal Award for playing the eponymous Puss in Boots in Wellington Pantomime Group’s production. Finally, in 2018, Jack was nominated for Best Villain for Hades in Hercules the Pantomime.

Greenscreen
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Jack has spent a lot more time in his home studio. If you require a talking head for your project, Jack now has a greenscreen, along with lighting and directional microphone, to deliver just that!
Presenter Showreel
A collection of highlights, and funny points, from Jack’s work as a Presenter!
On the Radio
In 2010, whilst at university, Jack started presenting a show on Insanity Radio (103.2FM). He immediately got the radio bug – and carried on presenting weekly before departing university (degree in hand) in 2013. Coincidentally, he also received the award for “Best Male Presenter” at the 2013 Insanity Radio awards.
In 2014, Jack started interning at Wessex FM (97.2FM). A year later, not content with
just becoming Creative Copywriter for the station, Jack also became a resident DJ with the Wessex FM Disco, as well as a Cover Presenter for the station – so basically, he was pretty busy!
In 2017, Jack returned to his spiritual home of Somerset, and presented a Breakfast Show weekly on Apple FM (97.3FM). He had previously presented a Drive-Time Show in 2014 before he got his break at Wessex FM.
In 2020, Jack heard the call once again, and joined the team at 1Radio as the first ever Mid-Morning presenter, bringing fun to your Mid-Mornings. His show was on Thursdays and Fridays 10am – 2pm.
Compere/Master of Ceremonies
Never afraid to be in the spotlight, Jack has turned his talents to Compere/MC for events on many occasions. Utilising his theatrical talents, as well as his training in Improv, Jack has been a Quizmaster, Host, Compere, DJ and Master of Ceremonies for several events in his time.
Most recently, Jack became the King himself – Elvis – to host Reminiscence Learning’s Christmas Awards Evening, capturing the style, songs and voice of the man himself, hosting the awards as well as singing and playing guitar. He previously was Captain Jack for their “People Make the World Go Round” event, to high acclaim from both organisers and visitors alike.
Modelling
Yep, Jack can go for periods of time NOT talking as well (and that’s ASIDE from being asleep). As a comics fan, he was thrilled to be cast as Rorshach from Watchmen for Shooting Pixel’s “Heroes and Villains” shoot.

Wessex Wheels
